About RoundKit
I built RoundKit so a great quiz night takes minutes, not a whole evening of prep.
- RoundKit builds ready-to-print pub quiz kits for organizers who would rather host than write questions.
- Pick topics, difficulty and rounds, preview it live, and download a complete kit - host question sheet, team answer cards, scoring table and a sources page.
- Building and previewing are free. You pay only to download, or subscribe when quiz night becomes a habit. English and Polish from day one.
- It is run by Maciej Dzierżek - a one-person studio in Poland, part of the RunRiva family.
I have hosted quizzes for years - for friends, at family gatherings, and during the training sessions I run. The fun part is hosting. The chore is writing fresh, checked questions every single week.
So I built two things. First QuizBase, an API that returns clean, categorised, multilingual questions drawn from open datasets. Then RoundKit, the part you are looking at: it turns that supply into a finished quiz night, beautifully laid out, for people who never want to touch an API.
The questions are on open licences, so I do not sell exclusivity - I sell the curation, the format, the print materials and the tools around them: swap a question, edit it, never repeat it. The content stays open; the product is the convenience.
Who is behind RoundKit
Since 1996 I have worked in and around the internet and digital products - as a product manager, on large portals and small projects, and through corporate transformations. Change has been the one constant, and this is part of the change happening around us.
